i did a format of a frends laptop with 7 now i only get a half a screen ,, the screen is 17in and i get only a 13 inch screen the rest is black all round it, if i move the mouse to the eage of the screen the mouse disapers
any 1 know what is happing the laptop is a sony saio vgn fs115z

Have you tried changing the resolution in the display preferences? It might have set itself to a lower resolution by default if it couldn’t find drivers for the onboard graphics.

yes it set at 1280/720. if you put this page full screen you get the pic in the backgrown then you have the forum in the midel
