Where is this coming from?
Things I might have done to cause this problem:
Messed with launch options
Messed with file privileges
Things I did to undo what I did:
Deleted local content of tf2 and reinstalled it.
Checked file privileges. Nothing appears harmful.
Im absolutely stumped. Maybe ill post on steam forums.

Alright, Thanks for all your help, I fixed it. The problem occured trying to run tf2 in 64 bit (-64bit) and than in 64 bit with no border (i typed -64bit, -noborder) and than my game failed. Than I tried nothing, fail. Blah. Just -64bit works. yay.
Damn we almost lost you on that one marine! xD
If you need noborder then you should ditch the 64bit flag as it doesn’t do anything anyway, the game still launches in 32-bit mode.
when I ditched it, my game failed though. I dont really need noborder.
