Hey Farmer, were you the one to do the graphic designing and PHP?

I’d like to say I like the current template a lot. It’s very minimalistic and it fits well with my desktop theme, so that ‘s all great. Also the color choice is good and flows together, which is also cool.

Are you using a PHP framework or did you/someone else code it from scratch?

Also, I thought I’d let you know I’m a PHP/MySQL programmer and I can also do some basic Javascript, HTML/CSS (lawl.) as well as C/C++ and a few other minor languages (Lols at Maple. (if you know what it is)). I’m not saying all this to brag, but rather, I’d like to offer you a hand if you ever need any (like adding feature and stuff.)

I wouldn’t say I’m an amazing pro leet uber programmer from hell when it comes to PHP, but I know it very well, enough to make money out of programming.

I do have a lot of other projects going on though so I wouldn’t be able to invest a lot of time in it, but I’m still willing to help :D for free’s too.

Here are some of the projects I’m working on at the moment.

PHP:

Complete website framework (not sure if I’m adding forums yet though) for a company a few friends and I are trying to start.

Form Generating Libraries with “Event”-like functions (Yes! PHP has something that does the same as function pointers)

C++:

MMO RPG Engine/Server with a few friends as well, this is one big ass project which will probably be done in many years and maybe never see the daylight since we’re all short on time.

Fire Emblem’ish Turn based strategy game (that’s a 1 man project though)

Web “Crawler” to automate voting for some website (undiclosed!) with multiple accounts and multiple proxies every 12 hours. (Yeah, this is VERY legal >.>)


HTML/CSS:

I hate writing HTML and CSS (though CSS is not that bad) so I try to create PHP libraries that help generate output HTML to make my job easier.

Just let me know what you think, cause I’m always up for new projects and new dev teams to work with. My Resume likes it too :P

Lots of variety there :) I’m envious of what you’ve done with C++ because that is a language that I could never get along with. This site is written in Ruby on Rails which is more my forte. It’s all my work so far, with some nudges from Farmer, Intel and others here and there for features/design ideas.

It’s fantastic to know there’s someone out there interested in helping! Purely out of interest are you self-taught? I am, with the exception of some more formal visual basic training, although my resume isn’t as diverse as yours :)

Oh and I’m glad you like the design! Farmer will tell you I agonised over how to make it look for ages!!

Yeah, I take care of the community and Flatliner takes care of the website. We help each other out, but for the most part that is how it will be. I know only a little of the basics for web design. My programming knowledge is more on the hardware end. I use machine assembly language, C, and BASIC in my studies to program micro controllers, robots and other computer chips.

As Flatliner said this it not written in php, but Ruby on Rails. If I am not mistaken the design goes the html/css route. Of course all of it is from scratch.

I would also like to thank you for the offer for some help. I think we have it under control at the moment, but we are planning on adding more features to the site in the future. We may possibly need some input then.

Hur hur, well I have never seen ruby on rails, so I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to help out either way.
