It’s hyperthreading. Each processor core is detected by the OS as two virtual cores. Check out the wikipedia article on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperthreading

niceeee. :’( i miss my computer n its 4 (8 theoretical) cores :(. imma treat myself to a new video card once i get it up n running. nvidia gt3_ _ here i come
