It just shut down today for no apparent reason. Every time I turned it on it shut down a few seconds later.

So i popped open the case and you know what I saw?
The plastic piece that secured the heat sink in place was broken and the heat sink was practically hanging by it’s wire.

I’ll be getting a new motherboard tomorrow, with a new case, processor and ram. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while, and now I have an excuse.

I’ll post up my new rig soon.
